Meet the Doctors

Dr. Lyon
Dr. Barry Lyon

Dr. Lyon received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Following that, he was a resident in general dentistry at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. After finishing that program, Dr. Lyon completed a residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Maryland and was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Dr. Lyon was a member of the Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners for eight years, serving one year as president-elect, one year as president, and two years as secretary-treasurer. Dr. Lyon is also a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at the University Of Maryland School Of Dentistry.
Dr. Lyon has been the president of the Maryland Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the president of the Maryland Society of Dentistry for Children. He is currently the media spokesman for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Daulat
Dr. Wendy Daulat

Dr. Wendy Daulat was born and raised in New York. She attended Binghamton University and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1994. In 1998, Dr. Daulat completed her dental school training at The University of Maryland and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. Following dental school, she completed a one-year Advanced General Dentistry Residency in 1999 and a two-year Pediatric Dentistry Residency in 2001. After three years in private practice, Dr. Daulat shifted her focus to treating patients in need of hospital dental services. She lives in Howard County with her husband, Chetan, son Julian, and two German Shepards. Dr. Daulat enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, and reading her imported New York Times.

Stephanie Lee, DDS
Dr. Stephanie Lee

Dr. Stephanie Lee grew up in South Korea and Maryland. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Maryland in 2001. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2005. She went on to complete a general practice residency at Veterans Hospital in Baltimore where she received extensive training in all aspects of comprehensive dentistry including pediatric dentistry. Dr. Lee currently resides in Odenton, Maryland. When she's not working, she is actively involved in community service and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Francoise Engel, DDS
Dr. Francoise Engel

Dr. Engel received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1979 from the University Paris VII in France. She then graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1983 with her Certificate in Orthodontics. Dr. Engel remained as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine while working in a private orthodontic practice in Richboro, PA. For the next nine years Dr. Engel taught full-time in the Department of Orthodontics at the San Antonio Dental School. In 1994 Dr. Engel accepted a faculty position at the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore where she taught and practiced orthodontics for four years.
As a result of her experience, knowledge and skills, Dr. Engel is a highly respected lecturer, author and practitioner. Her professional affiliations include: American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Maryland State Dental Association, Maryland State Society of Orthodontists and Anne Arundel Dental Association.
Born and educated in Paris, France, Dr. Engel currently resides in Pikesville, Maryland. As the parent of two children, David 22 and Bella 18, she enjoys watching their basketball and volleyball games and participating in various outdoor activities including: bike riding, sailing and skiing. Dr. Engel also takes pleasure from the arts, theatre, foreign films and musicals.

Dr. Melissa Saintil

Dr. Saintil graduated with honors from City College of New York with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. She worked at the Downstate Medical Center in New York before applying to dental school. She was an assistant at the Infant and Child Learning Center which provided medical services to special needs children. In 2005, she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. In 2007, Dr. Saintil completed a residency in pediatric dentistry and also obtained a Master of Science in Dentistry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Saintil is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association.

Greg Stock, DDS
Dr. Greg Stock

Dr. Greg Stock was born and raised in western Pennsylvania. He then moved to Baltimore to attend Johns Hopkins University, where he graduated in 2003 with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. In 2007, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland Dental School, where he was a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and Vice-President of the Student Dental Association. He completed his Master of Science degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the University of Michigan in 2010 and moved back to Maryland to practice. Dr. Stock currently resides in Howard Country with his wife, Anne. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists.

Sylvia Yen, DDS
Dr. Sylvia Yen

Dr. Sylvia Yen grew up in Kuwait and Wisconsin. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education and Social Policy from Northwestern University in 1996. She went on to pursue a Master in Public Health from Tulane University in 1998. Prior to dentistry, she worked as a Senior Health Care Analyst for the National Committee for Quality Assurance in Washington, D.C. After much dedicated work towards the development of health care policy initiatives, she decided to pursue a career in dentistry and graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2006. After graduation, she worked in Massachusetts and Maryland in private practice and community dental health clinics treating adults and children. She is in the process of pursuing her residency in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Maryland's School of Dentistry. In her free time, Dr. Yen enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially her husband, Alec, and daughter, Emily Alexia.
